COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
It Ain't Working exists to tell people whether something is actually working right now. Keep it useful, keep it honest, keep it safe.
What's not allowed
- Spam, fake reports, or deliberately misleading information
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse
- Hate speech or attacks based on identity
- Sexual or explicit content
- Graphic violence or gore
- Threats, incitement, or dangerous behavior
- Personal or private information about anyone (doxxing)
- Impersonating a person, business, or staff member
- Fraud, scams, or abuse of the platform
This applies to reports, photos and video, comments, verification responses, display names, usernames and profile bios.
Reporting content or people
Every report, photo, comment, verification response and profile has a “…” menu with Report. Pick a category, optionally add an explanation, and submit. It goes straight to our moderation team.
Your identity is never shown to the person you reported. Only admins and authorized moderators can see who filed a report.
Blocking and hiding
Block someone and you stop seeing their comments, profile activity, and other social content. They are not told that you blocked them.
Operational issue reports stay on the public reliability record — that's the point of the app — but a blocked person's name, profile link and social interactions are hidden from your view.
Hide this content removes a single item from your own view while moderators review it.
Manage your list any time in Settings → Blocked users.
Moderation and enforcement
Reports are reviewed by human admins and moderators. We do not auto-ban anyone because a single report was filed. Depending on severity and history, we may dismiss the report, hide or remove the content, warn the account, temporarily suspend it, or permanently ban it.
Account states: active, warned, temporarily suspended, permanently banned.
Suspended and banned accounts cannot submit new reports, comments, photos, or verifications. Every moderation action is recorded with a reason in a permanent audit log.
Data we keep for safety
When content is hidden or removed we keep the underlying record, the moderation case, and the audit entry so we can investigate repeat behavior and handle appeals. Reporter identities are stored but restricted to admins and authorized moderators.
Appeals
If your account was warned, suspended, or banned and you think we got it wrong, you can file an appeal from Settings or email admin@iawtechnologies.com. We aim to respond within a few business days.
